BIOGRAPHY

Ajay Sutrakar is the Manager of the Biomethane Development Office at the Technological University of the Shannon, leading the EU Just Transition Fund–supported "Biomethane for Carbon and Community" initiative to advance Ireland's renewable gas and bioeconomy transition. With nearly two decades of experience, he has led large-scale projects in hydrogen, biomethane, waste-to-energy, and circular energy systems.

Ajay previously headed the Hydrogen, Biomass, and Waste to Energy Division at NTPC Limited, bringing deep expertise in energy infrastructure development. He is the author of over 30 publications with 13 patents in clean energy technologies.
