BIOGRAPHY

Cristian Călin is the Director of Green Gas Programmes and Decarbonisation Solutions at Delgaz Grid, part of the E.ON Group, the largest gas and electricity distribution company in Romania. He leads projects focused on integrating hydrogen and other low-carbon technologies into national energy systems.

Cristian oversees the 20HyGrid pilot, Romania’s first project to test a hydrogen–natural gas blend in existing distribution networks. With over two decades of professional experience, he has driven major technical innovations and coordinated several strategic, EU-funded initiatives.
