BIOGRAPHY

Stefan Laer is part of the Sustainable Transition team at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Europe’s second largest port and home to the continent’s biggest petrochemical cluster. His work focuses on hydrogen and CO₂, particularly strengthening the port’s connection with the German hinterland.

Stefan also supports the President of the Belgian Hydrogen, Mr Tom Hautekiet, as sherpa. He previously advanced hydrogen policy and partnerships at WaterstofNet and co-founded the Belgian Hydrogen Council, promoting collaboration across the BeNeLux hydrogen industry.
